Kathleen J (Oswalt) Hoover (1956-2025)

Kathy (Oswalt) Hoover, wife of David T. Hoover, died unexpectedly this past weekend on Sunday, 9 November 2025.

Kathy was born in Clearfield on 26 May 1956 to George and Dorothy (Buck) Oswalt. She and David married 18 May 1974. She is survived by David and their four children: David T. Hoover Jr., Jennifer A. Hoover, Jason L Hoover, and Joseph A. Hoover. She was preceded in death by her father George Oswalt, her son Douglas R. Hoover, and a brother, David Oswalt.

Family and friends can pay their respects at Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Snow Shoe this Saturday, 15 November 2025, between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon. A funeral service will follow directly after at noon, officiated by Pastor Catherine Dittman. The burial will be at Gillingham Cemetery, where Kathy will be laid to rest beside her son, Doug.

Memorial contributions can be made in Kathy’s name to the Pine Glen Volunteer Fire Company at 1003 Pine Glen Road, Karthaus, PA 16845.
