Marvin Ellis “Bud” Hoover (1932-2023)

Bud Hoover passed away at home on Saturday, November 18th. Bud was the youngest of twelve and last surviving child of Clyde and Nora (Houdeshell) Hoover. He was born in Pine Glen on 21 December 1932.

Bud married Shirley May Parnay in Hagerstown on 10 Jan 1953. They had four children: Marvin “Randy” Hoover, Debra M (Hoover) Hill, Peggy R Hoover, and Todd E Hoover.

Bud will be interred in the Advent Cemetery in Pine Glen. In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made in his name to the United Way of Centre County or Log a Load for Kids Foundation.
